Tiger strikes silver at the 2026 National Business Women’s Awards
Head Tiger and Managing Director Louise Stevenson was over the moon to win silver in the Business Owner of the Year category at the 2026 National Business Women’s Awards on Friday 5th June.
One of the UK’s most prestigious celebrations of female entrepreneurship and leadership, the National Business Women’s Awards honour the country’s most inspiring and successful businesswomen, recognising leadership, innovation and achievement across a wide range of industries. With hundreds of entrants and 12 finalists in the Business Owner of the Year category alone, winning silver is a remarkable achievement.
The win comes amid a challenging time for Louise. Following a total hip replacement in March, a complex recovery, and then the unexpected loss of her father in May, stepping onstage to receive an award was far from her mind.
She explains, “What makes this award particularly special is that 2026 has also been one of the toughest years of my life. As I stood on that stage on Friday, I couldn’t help but think how different life can look behind the scenes – but that’s why this award means so much.”
The Grand Awards Celebration took place at London City’s Leonardo Royal Hotel and was hosted by TV presenter Marina Berry – who also provided live music later on. Louise attended with Tiger’s Executive Assistant Rebecca, and was presented with her award by Miriam Drahmane, CEO of B2B marketing agency BCM.
“The atmosphere throughout the evening was incredible,” said Louise. “The conversations, the inspiration, the support and the opportunity to meet so many talented businesswomen made it a truly unforgettable experience. I’d like to congratulate all finalists and winners and thank the National Business Women’s Awards team for organising such a fantastic celebration of women in business.”
Louise dedicated the award to her Tigers, saying, “During this exceptionally challenging period, the Tiger team stepped up in every possible way. They looked after our clients, welcomed new ones, kept projects moving and continued to deliver exceptional work. I’ve always said that without my team, I don’t have a business. This award belongs to every one of them: Reva, Melanie, Kirsten, Tim, James and Rebecca. Your loyalty, hard work and support mean more than you’ll ever know.”
Being recognised in this way – whether it’s making the shortlist or collecting a trophy on the night – means a lot to us as a team. We treasure these moments as they provide a rare opportunity to stop and reflect on what we’ve achieved and overcome.
